ROYAL ARABIAN’S PRE-ATM PARTY

 

The party started around 20.30PM and the agents were welcomed, followed by a short introduction speech by Mr. Vijay Puthran and Mr. Naveen Saldanha and concluded by a presentation by Ralph on the upcoming developments in Dubai and how far Royal Arabian has come followed by a 10 minute presentation on Pacha Ibiza.
The night saw some dazzling performance by Yuliia who performed acrobatic handstands and ‘Donial Kalex’ with a second nightlife performance which was equally amazing with Canapes served throughout the evening. The party was then closed by around 10.30PM.

AL GAFFAL TRADITIONAL 60FT DHOW RACE 2016

 

Date: Saturday, 21st May 2016

Started with 53 dhows, 43-feet long, during the first competition in 1991, the race has grown into a major sporting event, featuring about 100 traditional third version traditional boats (60 feet), and has seen more than 3,000 participants sailing the waters of the Gulf. The race begins at the small uninhabited island of Sur Bu Na’air, 50 nautical miles west of the UAE.

The Al Gaffal Dhow Race, was designed to commemorate the pearl divers who were integral to the early trading port of Dubai. To experience this traditional sporting event, the Dubai RTA offer ferry rides that follow the racers at various points around the Marina.

One of Dubai’s most-talked new openings is to offer a special Dhs500 burger this month to celebrate what is the National Burger Day in both the US (May is also ‘Burger Month in the States) and Australia.
Firebird Diner’s incredible looking Burger Khalifa is part of the DIFC restaurant’s Burger Domination Week, and is almost certain to be lighting up your Instagram feeds between May 22-28.

Also on the menu that week are the ‘All American Slider’, ‘Down South Dirty Bird’, ‘The Big Tex’ and ‘Arabian Burger’. The signature item justifies its eye-watering price tag by being loaded with two prime USDA Beef Patties, a Maine Lobster Tail, seared foie gras, black truffle aioli, and a sunny side egg.

DUBAI DESERT ROAD RUN 2016

The Dubai Desert Road Run is a sport event starting off at The Sevens Stadium, that allows you to follow your progress throughout the year and socialize with fellow runners. It includes a 10km race for adults and those above 14 years old, a 3km junior race, ages 6 to 18, and a 3km fun run, which is untimed.

This time around, there will be a 10k race and a 3k fun run with medals given to all who finish the races. Trophies will be awarded to the first three men and women in all age categories for the 10k run. Participants are able to enter a single run or register for as many dates as they wish. AYKON brings to those who are not faint of heart, yet another adrenaline-pumping adventure activity AYKON Dare as part of the AYKON city development on Dubai Water Canal.

The AKYON Dare will be located in the Golden Quadrant hosting other facilities like restaurants, entertainment and lesiure options in the mini-city.
