Years of Divine Inspiration & Dedication:

The religious organisation known as BAPS Swami Narayan Sanstha, is conducting the construction of this upcoming architectural marvel with the blessings of his holiness Mahant Swami Maharaj. Prime Minister of India, Narendra Modi, officially launched the project during a visit to the UAE in 2018.

In 2019, the temple became the first Hindu place of worship to receive an official licence in Abu Dhabi and aspires to be a centre for cultural understanding and community engagement.

The BAPS Mandir Educational facilities within the complex will also host several workshops, lectures and exhibitions as well.

Fusion of Stone & Spirit:

Carved from 9,000 tonnes of pink sandstone shipped from Rajasthan, India, the temple complex is built on 55,000 sq. m of land and will house not only educational facilities and aesthetic gardens but also the central Murti Mandir which will be adorned with 28,000 hand-carved murtis (deities) and intricate stonework, showcasing the rich artistry of India’s cultural heritage.

The Mandir’s opening stands as a powerful symbol of tolerance, peace, and the unifying power of spirituality, a testament to the vibrant Hindu community in the UAE and wills serve as a beacon of hope for upcoming generations.
