Khorfakkan
Literally meaning “Creek of Two Jaws” in Arabic obviously, KhorFakkan is the second largest on the east coast after Fujairah the only natural deep-sea port in the region and one of the major ports in the Emirates. The site that would enchant is the white sand beaches and coral reefs. The prominence of this town mounted with the evidence of the postholes of the traditional Barasti huts known as Arish, which dates from the 3rd to 1st millennium BC. Also, the vestiges of the ancient Portuguese settlements mark this town on the World map for historical buffs.
